We are very pleased to congratulate our Cambridgeshire county tennis player, David Mills, Captain of our 35s and 45s Men’s county teams, who was selected to represent England to play no.1 singles player for the Men’s 50s England team. The Four Nations Tennis Championships consisted of 6 teams per Nation of 3 Men’s and 3 Ladies age groups of 35s, 45s & 50s from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. David also had the honour of being asked to captain the overall England Team which was successful in winning the competition. On a personal level, David beat the Welsh and Scottish no.1 singles players (before picking up an injury against the Irish no.1) giving very valuable winning points towards the overall total wins for England.
