Harry Wendelken described lifting a trophy at Wimbledon as a dream coming true after winning the HSBC Road to Wimbledon national under-14 Challenge Finals.
The 14-year-old Horseheath starlet, who trains at Culford School Tennis Academy, had always wanted to star on the famous lawn courts at SW19, and follow in the footsteps of the likes of Andy Murray and Roger Federer. And his opportunity finally came last week, with Wendelken progressing beyond the regional rounds to make it all the way to the national event where he beat Alex Solonenko 6-2, 7-6.
