Helping to grow local tennis

Sponsoring Cambs tennis

Cambridgeshire Lawn Tennis Association invites local companies and other organisations to support grass roots participation in tennis within the county

Background

Cambridgeshire LTA is working hard to increase participation as well as identifying and encouraging talented players to reach their maximum potential at regional, national and international competitions. We also wish to open up tennis to those with disabilities including wheelchair tennis and visually impaired tennis.

To help with this we need to provide financial support to our network of coaches and help with the improvement of facilities including courts, floodlighting and club houses to make tennis more available and more enjoyable.

Sponsorship packages

Our partner packages provide much more than straight-forward logo sponsorship, they provide an extension to company’s existing PR, marketing, branding, HR and an extensive Corporate Social Responsibility program.

In addition there are ample promotional opportunities through branding and company exposure on the Cambs LTA website, at tournaments and across social media channels.

Supporting projects across the county

  • Membership Growth: Usually a coaching programme for potential members in a place to play with the aim of converting those attending to membership. Typically an initial coaching programme is subsidised with a view to attracting more participants. The aim is to gradually reduce the subsidy to make the coaching programmes sustainable.
  • Facilities Improvement: Sponsorship can be used in conjunction with the Cambridgeshire Facilities Fund and club resources to add courts or floodlighting.
  • Tournament Sponsoring: There are a number of county-based tournaments for junior players which enable sponsors to get their name across if they wish to a large number of players and general public.
  • Tennis for the Disabled: support for equipment or for coaching or for tournaments.
  • Performance Tennis: Support for junior county teams. This could include the provision of county clothing, tournament expenses or for coaching. Sponsors can have a patch added to county kit.
  • Senior Open Teams: Our top adult county teams incur considerable expense entering summer and winter county cup competitions around Britain. Sponsors can assist with funding.
  • School Programmes: The county is involved with coaching programmes to introduce young players to tennis via after school clubs. The objective is to encourage young players to join tennis clubs so they can play tennis more regularly.
  • Other opportunities: There is a wide range of sponsorship opportunities covering participation, performance and facilities for all geographical parts of the county and for all ages. Cambridgeshire LTA is keen to discuss opportunities that meet specific sponsor requirements. This might include opportunities that meet your corporate social responsibility priorities or meet your requirement to generate publicity.
